DigiCare.

Terms of Use

Information, not insurance advice.

DigiCare Insurance USA publishes research and explanations about US insurance. Nothing on this site is insurance advice, and DigiCare is not a licensed agency, broker or producer. Using the site creates no agency relationship and binds no coverage. Where this site and an insurer's own policy document disagree, the policy document is right.

These terms govern your use of digicareinsurance.com, published by DigiCare Insurance USA, part of DigiCare (getdigicare.com). If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The short version

  • We publish research. We do not sell insurance.
  • The policy document always beats this website.
  • Every price here is a dated estimate, never a quote.
  • Cite us and link back — do not republish us wholesale.

Four things this site is not.

Insurance decisions carry real money and real consequences, so the limits belong at the top rather than in small print. Where you need an answer that binds someone, this page says who to ask.

Who can actually answer
  • Not advice for your situation

Pages here describe how rules and products generally work. They cannot account for your age, state, health history, driving record, visa status, contract or claim — which is exactly what determines the right answer for you.

  • Not a licensed agency, broker or producer

DigiCare holds no insurance license in any state. We do not sell, solicit, negotiate or bind coverage, take no applications and issue no quotes. Nothing on the site should be read as an offer to place insurance.

  • No agency relationship, no duty to you

Reading a page, emailing us or clicking a link to a partner does not make us your agent, broker or adviser, and does not create the duties that come with those roles. Only a licensed producer can take them on.

  • Nothing here confirms or changes coverage

We cannot tell you that you are covered, that a claim will be paid, or that a filing satisfies a court or a state. Those answers come from the carrier, the regulator or the court, in writing.

Using what you read here

Four rules for reading a page on this site.

01

The certificate wording controls

Plan summaries, comparisons and reviews here describe a product as its published documents stated it on the date we checked. Insurers revise wording, limits and exclusions, and the version issued to you is the only one that governs your coverage. If our description and your certificate disagree, your certificate wins and our page is wrong.

02

Every figure is an estimate

Prices and premiums shown anywhere on this site are estimates only, drawn from published rate filings and plan documents and carrying the date they were collected. They are not quotes, not offers, and no one is bound by them. What you are actually charged depends on facts we cannot see.

03

Accuracy, and how to check us

We work from primary sources and date every page, but rules change on legislative and regulatory timetables that no publisher controls, and a page can be stale before we notice. Before you rely on a rule that matters, verify it at the source — the four below are where we get ours.

04

Links out are not endorsements

Links to insurers, marketplaces, partners and government sites are provided for your convenience. Those sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we have no control over their content, pricing or practices. Some outbound links may pay us a commission — which is disclosed in full, on its own page.

Where to verify anything you read here

  • Your state Department of Insurance

Minimum limits, filing rules, licensed carriers and complaint handling

  • NAIC

Cross-state comparisons, consumer guidance and complaint routing

  • HealthCare.gov

Enrollment periods, eligibility and Marketplace plan terms

  • The insurer's own plan documents

Certificate wording, exclusions, limits and the version that applies to you

Automated access

Crawl it, quote it, cite it.

Most sites in this category forbid all automated access and AI ingestion by default, then publish a robots file inviting both. We would rather say what we actually mean.

Read our llms.txt

Indexing, ingestion and citation are permitted. Search engines and AI assistants may crawl this site, index it, ingest it and quote from it when answering a question, provided the answer attributes DigiCare and links to the page it came from. That permission is deliberate: pages here are written to be the source an assistant cites, and it would be incoherent to publish for that purpose and then prohibit it in the terms.

Bulk republication is not. You may not copy, mirror, scrape wholesale, translate in bulk or republish substantial parts of this site as your own content, with or without attribution, and you may not sell it on. Quoting a passage with a link is fine and welcome; reproducing a page is not.

robots.txt and llms.txt are the machine-readable version. They state which crawlers are welcome and which are not — search and AI answer crawlers are allowed; commercial SEO and backlink crawlers are disallowed. Where a specific rule there is narrower than this clause, the file governs, and requests should respect it and use reasonable rates.

Everything else you would expect. Text, structure, data compilations and design on this site belong to DigiCare or its licensors. Do not use the site to break the law, misrepresent yourself as DigiCare or as licensed, interfere with its operation, or probe it for vulnerabilities without telling us first.

Liability

The limits, stated without the wall of capitals.

A limitation clause nobody can read protects nobody. If any part of this is not enforceable where you live, the rest still stands and that part applies as far as the law allows.

Ask about these terms
  • The site is provided as is

We publish it in good faith and check it against primary sources, but we make no warranty that it is complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, and none that it will be available without interruption. Insurance rules change; some pages will be behind at any given moment.

  • We are not liable for decisions made from it

To the fullest extent the law allows, DigiCare is not liable for loss arising from reliance on this site — including a denied claim, a coverage gap, a lapsed filing, a missed enrollment window or a premium that differs from an estimate published here. Those outcomes are settled by your policy and your regulator.

  • Third parties are their own responsibility

We are not liable for the acts, omissions, pricing, products or privacy practices of any insurer, marketplace, broker or partner reached through a link on this site, and we do not guarantee that a partner will accept, cover or pay you.

  • These terms can change

When they do, the effective date at the top of the page changes with them and the revised terms apply from that date. Material changes are described rather than slipped in, and continued use of the site after the date is acceptance of the version then published.

Terms are the floor. The standard is the point.

What this page limits, the editorial standard commits to: which sources qualify, how prices are dated, and what gets corrected when we are wrong.

  • Independent — we don't sell insurance
  • No forms, no sales calls
  • Sourced from NAIC & state DOIs
